About Complete Wellness Counselling
Individual Therapy
We offer therapy for individuals who want to improve their mental wellbeing, work through life challenges, or gain greater clarity and direction. Life can present many obstacles. At times people manage them independently, and at other times speaking with a professional can help create new perspectives and solutions.
Our approach may include evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, alongside psychoeducation where appropriate. We also work with individuals who are exploring their relationship with alcohol or other substances. This may involve developing harm minimisation strategies, reviewing existing recovery plans, or simply providing a space to reflect on the impact substances may be having on their life.
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) for Small Businesses
We provide Employee Assistance Program services specifically designed for small and community businesses. Traditionally, EAP programs are offered mainly within large organisations. Through our research and conversations with small businesses in industries such as hospitality, trades, and family-run retail and takeaway stores, we found that many employers and staff had never heard of EAP services.
The people working in small businesses face the same pressures and personal challenges as those in larger organisations. These businesses are the backbone of our communities, and we believe they deserve the same access to professional wellbeing services as larger companies.
NDIS Services
We work with NDIS participants who are seeking counselling and support to strengthen their wellbeing, develop coping strategies, and navigate personal or life challenges. Our approach focuses on helping participants build confidence, independence, and greater stability in their lives.
A key area of our work is supporting participants in relation to employment and work readiness. This may involve assisting individuals who are already in a job and want to maintain employment, improve workplace confidence, or navigate workplace challenges. It may also involve supporting participants who are simply beginning to explore the idea of work and what employment could look like for them in the future.
Our services are delivered under the NDIS categories of Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living and Capacity Building – Finding and Keeping a Job. Through these supports, we work with participants to build practical skills, confidence, and strategies that help them move toward meaningful participation in work and the community.
Complete Wellness Counselling Australia provides counselling and wellbeing services for individuals, small businesses, and NDIS participants.
Complete Wellness Counselling Australia was founded on the belief that purpose drives happiness and wellbeing. When people begin to understand themselves more deeply and explore the reasons behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours - working through the questions and experiences that shape their lives, they develop stronger resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and develop a clearer sense of direction.
Our work focuses on helping people strengthen their mental health, build practical coping skills, and work through life’s difficulties in a meaningful way. We believe therapy should feel genuine, human, and grounded in real life. Each person brings their own story, values, and goals, and our approach respects that individuality.
Meet Our Founder, Michelle
CWCA is led by Michelle, a MACA-registered counsellor holding a Master of Counselling, GradDip Counselling and a B.A Psychology.
Michelle brings a highly unique, real-world perspective to therapeutic practice. Before founding CWCA, she built an extensive career spanning over a decade in senior operational management, regional leadership, and the Disability Employment Services (DES) sector. This deep understanding of complex organisational dynamics, workplace stress, and disability support systems directly informs CWCA’s approach to EAP and NDIS services.
Complementing her clinical practice, Michelle is deeply engaged in the broader mental health field, collaborating on trauma-focused research and writing to support the well-being of medical and mental health professionals.
Whether supporting an employee navigating workplace challenges, an NDIS participant building independence, or an individual seeking personal growth, CWCA bridges the gap between clinical expertise and practical, lived understanding.
